Word is spreading that the Google Chrome OS will become available for download anytime within a week from now. However, it is much advisable not to spaz and get the OS right away because, according to Paktimes, do not expect the Google Chrome OS to work on whatever laptop or desktop machine from day one.
EEE PC netbooks, for instance, is already Chrome-compatible, while the support for the likes of Acer, Asus, HP, and Lenovo are still being fixed.
Will Google be able to deliver the promise of faster operating times compared to other operating systems? We will find out in the coming weeks.
