The lesser-known browser extension, Chrome to Mobile, provides users with the ability to send webpages directly from their desktop browser to their Android device. It’s perfect for those times when you’re forced to leave the article or blog you’re reading in a time crunch, or when you need a webpage copy for offline viewing on the go. However, it’s not the easiest tool to use if you’re unfamiliar with either version of Google’s flagship browser.

Downloading the Chrome to Mobile extension
Step 1: Sign in to your Google account as you would normally on your desktop, navigate to the to Chrome to Mobile download page, and click the blue Free button followed by Add download and install the necessary software. Once installed, you should see an icon depicting a tablet andsmartphone located on the right-hand side of the address bar (next to the Chrome customization settings).
Step 2: Next, click the aforementioned Chrome to Mobile icon and select Connect your mobile device from the resulting drop-down menu. Afterward, click the blue Accept button, authorizing the app to access your email address, basic information, and printers.
Step 3: If you haven’t already, navigate to the Chrome Browser download page within the Google Play Store and download the mobile app. Afterward, launch the app, access the Settings panel, and sign into Chrome using the respective login credentials for your desired account.
Step 4: Once signed in to the proper Google account on your desktop and Android device, access the Settings panel there as well, and click your email address at the top of the resulting pop-up menu prior to checking the box beside Chrome to Mobile.
Step 5: Click the aforementioned Chrome to Mobile icon located in the address bar while viewing the webpage you wish to send to your Android device. Afterward, select your desired device from the resulting drop-down menu and click the Send button in the bottom-right corner of the window. Additionally, check the box beside Also send copy for offline viewing if you wish to download said webpage for offline view. Once done, click the Other devices option within the main Settings menu of your Android device to access sent webpages.
