Australian MPs delegation visits police HQ

224841-amanda-fazioThe Australian parliamentary delegation on Tuesday visited Islamabad Police Lines Headquarters (HQ) and women police station and appreciated working of capital police and sacrifices of its personnel in the line of duty.
According to a press release, the delegation comprised President of the Legislative Assembly (Chairperson Sate Senate) Amanda Fazio, (Judge of the State Supreme Court) Justice Joanne Harrison, Member Legislative Council Lynda Vottz (State Senator), Member Legislative Council Shaoquetee Mosalmane (Ist elected Muslim State Senator), Member State Parliament, Parliamentary Secretary Solna Horney. SSP HQ Ahmed Mukaram briefed the delegation about the functioning of Islamabad police.


They showed keen interest in policing department of Pakistan. The guests were also informed about provincial police departments, Motorway Police and Railway police. Earlier, they visited national police martyrs
