Earthquake_jolts_different_parts_of_PakistanA moderate earthquake of 5.2 magnitude jolted Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan on Friday, seismologists said. Tremors were felt in Multan, Faisalabad, Vihari, Dera Ghazi Khan and North Waziristan and in some other areas. There were no immediate reports of casualties.

The quake struck at 4:17 am (2317 GMT Thursday) with its epicentre 82 kilometres west-southwest of Dera Ismail Khan, at a depth of just 10 kilometres, the United States Geological Survey said.
