PML-N legislators submitted on Wednesday two adjournment motions to the National Assembly Secretariat, seeking discussions on alleged corruption and mismanagement in Haj operations and reported victimisation of an international organisation which has carried out a survey on corruption in the government.The motion on the Haj operations was moved by eight MNAs and the motion on the alleged victimisation of Transparency International (TI) carried signatures of five legislators.In their first motion, the members have expressed concern over reports of corruption of millions of rupees in the Haj operations which caused hardship to pilgrims and brought bad name to the country.
The legislators regretted that the government had not learnt any lesson from past experiences when similar complaints had come to light.The second motion seeks adjournment of the house proceedings for a debate on media reports that
